Physiotherapy in Sydney CBD

PhysiCo City Physiotherapy is a multi-disciplinary allied health clinic in the Sydney CBD. We are located on Level 2 at 127 Bathurst Street, a short walk from Town Hall Station and Gadigal Station.

Our practitioners work with office workers, students, tradespeople and visitors to the city. People come to us with back pain, neck pain, sports injuries, headaches, postural strain and post-surgical rehabilitation, among other concerns. We also provide exercise physiology, remedial massage, dietetics and craniosacral therapy at the same address.

Appointments are available Monday to Friday from 8am to 6:30pm, and Saturday from 10am to 2pm. You can book online or call the clinic directly.

Services at our Sydney CBD clinic

The following services are available at our Bathurst Street clinic.

Physiotherapy

Our physiotherapists assess movement, joint function and muscle strength, then work with you on a management plan. Sessions typically combine hands-on treatment with exercise prescription and advice you can apply between appointments.

Sports physiotherapy

Sports physiotherapy covers injury assessment, rehabilitation and return-to-activity planning for people who play sport or train regularly. This includes acute injuries such as ankle sprains and hamstring strains, and load-related complaints that build up over a season.

Back pain physiotherapy

Back pain is one of the more common reasons people attend the clinic. Assessment looks at how your spine, hips and surrounding muscles move, and at the daily activities that may be contributing.

Sciatica physiotherapy

Sciatica describes pain that travels along the sciatic nerve, usually from the lower back into the buttock and leg. Assessment aims to identify what is irritating the nerve and which movements ease or provoke the symptoms.

Headache physiotherapy

Some headaches relate to the joints and muscles of the neck. A physiotherapy assessment examines neck movement, joint tenderness and posture to determine whether a cervical contribution is present.

Physiotherapy for whiplash

Whiplash-associated disorder follows a sudden movement of the head and neck, commonly after a motor vehicle accident. We see CTP-funded clients for assessment and staged rehabilitation.

Exercise physiology

Accredited exercise physiologists design exercise programs for people managing chronic conditions, recovering from injury, or returning to activity after a long break. Programs are adjusted over time based on how you respond.

Remedial massage

Remedial massage targets soft tissue tension and restricted movement. It is often used alongside physiotherapy or exercise physiology rather than on its own.

Dietetics

Our dietitian provides individual nutrition consultations, including for people managing chronic conditions, digestive concerns, or nutrition around training and recovery.

Craniosacral therapy

Craniosacral therapy is a gentle hands-on approach applied to the head, spine and pelvis. Some people choose it when they prefer a low-force technique.
